You've arrived at the website of the Dove Tale Writers. We’re a group of writers drawn to each other because we share a passion for writing. We meet regularly to share our works-in-progress. We rewrite, edit, polish – until finally we are ready to put what we’ve created “out there” for the greater world to see. To that goal, we've put together and published 3 anthologies in the past twelve years of meeting together.
Dove Tale Writers - we've chosen our name as a play on words. We tell tales. Our diverse writing styles and topics dovetail in our anthologies and publications. We fit together, but still maintain our independence as writers, following our personal dreams and stories.
Our logo is created from art by Dove Tale member Netty Meyer, showing a dove atop a tree and a man pondering beneath its branches. It suits us perfectly – as we ponder life through our writing.
