Christine White was born in Twillingate, Newfoundland, and moved to Kitchener in 1983. She has been employed at the University of Waterloo since 1984, where she received her BA in Speech Communication. Christine is a member of the Dove Tale Writers Collective and enjoys writing creative non-fiction, personal essay, memoir and poetry. She recently completed a collection of stories based on growing up in Newfoundland, and she is currently working on her first novel. Christine has two grown children: Dion who lives in Vancouver, and Tonya who lives in Kitchener with her husband Brent and their three children, Brooklyn, Avery, and Bronson.
